DESCRIPTION
A premium whole leaf Darjeeling tea sourced from high altitude gardens around 2,000 metres. Fully oxidised and traditionally processed, it develops the distinctive muscatel character associated with Darjeeling tea. Naturally sweet, aromatic and smooth, it is best enjoyed without milk or sugar.
For those who prefer to taste the tea itself.

  • This is not a tea designed to disappear under milk and sugar.
  • It is a tea to slow down for.
How to Prepare Black Leaf Tea
  • Use 2.5g leaves with approximately 120 to 150 ml of water.
  • Heat water to around 85 to 90°C.
  • Add the tea leaves.
  • First brew time 3 minutes.
  • Seconds brew time 4 minutes.
  • Strain and enjoy.
DO & DON'T

Getting the cup right

DO
  • Use fresh water. Give whole leaves enough room to open. Taste the first infusion before adding anything. Enjoy without milk for the clearest expression of the tea.
DON'T
  • Do not boil the leaves directly. Do not over-steep. Do not add milk automatically. Do not judge whole leaf tea by colour alone.
